A tribute

To one such as you…

I declare a day in declaration of your heart

As in you I have found myself


And to honor it

I lay down my swords

I fight no more as it is the way I may atone…

Atone for my transgressions, crimes and horrors

Within your eyes is my place of peace

And every syllable from your tongue comforts these nightmares

Your cent invokes, induces and seduces the very beast inside me

Your sense of understanding emits light to a dark existence

Your loving embrace fills all empty voids within me

I always been complete but now am fulfilled with you by my side

It is thus why all these haunting of misery have dissipated

It always rains in this place, yet even so you have brought new purpose to it

Your smile holds me to life as my life strives to endure circumstance

Your touch has harnessed the freedom to dance…

Dance in the very rain that wishes to drown all existence

I find heaven when our lips meet…

You have granted me the opportunity at happiness

If you would allow me I will stay with you for a life time

And though this life may end, this heart that has become full with you

Will not perish and so will love you for all time to pass

Hold my hand now for only it brings sunrise over these horizons

And when my day comes to atone, I will smile

For I have had heaven in this life

Yet may I ask that on that day I may fall asleep

Fall asleep in your arms to never wake again

So I may dream of this moment for my eternity

You are to me what may never be real in this life

A cure to my sickness, a way to escape, a gift from God

But why… why a man such as I

And though I may never know I know what I feel

So now I take my leave…

Controversial as it may seem

Gifts of God are not to be tarnished by the likes of me

I am not of this place yet you have given me a place to call home

A place in your heart and before you are cast out

I wish to save your life by giving mine as…
