Lost and Found

Crimson eyes for such city streets..
A fine wind blows through the alley ways of Gods fingertips
A woman weeping not in despair...

A show of strength beyond strength
To reveal what is kept inside
Medusa's box does not compare...
Who may hold a match to one such as I
I who would set myself ablaze..
In trivial times I see you weeping for the loss of innocence
field of screams now fill your pillow case
Come to me my child you will see the way...
Is but one voice whispering in the dark
Once again I see you weeping, yet not in despair
Your tears fall swiftly to your feet...
a world so cold it froze before it fell from your cheek...
I know of many reasons to cry... I have seen it too many times
Your strength revealing only to yourself
But lay down your sword I am not your enemy...
Of all I have admired from afar...
and in such distance I see your scars...
A little girl weeping for a lost soul
Take your hand in mine...
love lost consumed in bitterness...
a snow-capped smile to a fellow man
melts away in the shadows of night
such dire fear your eyes hold in fright
alone and silent here i lay
gravediggers the only company for such solitude
find me quickly....
