Little, Would they know...

Oh how my soul knows endless sorrow.
But naught more than this day.
No cheerful whispered giggles befall me.
Just the dawn of empty longing.

Tis no song nor tale of lovers.
But the omitence of a man's heart.
Nay, my love for you breaks me.
As you bare the remnants of my soul.

Your gentle hands & looks of admiration.
That reach to touch my face & heart.
Tumbled locks as my fleece...
You will find strength in your soul as I.

By this distance misery besets me.
As my heart replays your song of stars.
Crumbling by each mile & word.
A man I am in tears for you.

Little, would they know...
Your father loves you.... Zoe
